AB278. SOH26AB_0178. Sonopalpation for targeted trapezius hydrodissection: a case report
Abstract
Trapezius involvement in chronic neck pain is a common phenomenon, occurring either as a separate, contributory pathology or as a secondary effect of persistent pain and associated alterations in movement patterns. Trigger point injections are a commonly employed technique for treatment of palpably tender foci, but this technique provides little guidance regarding the depth of needle insertion or the reproducibility of effect between practitioners.
