Abstract

The ultrasound-guided interscalene block (ISB) provides prolonged and targeted analgesia that is crucial for the success of an ambulatory pathway for major shoulder surgery. This case series aimed to evaluate the effectiveness of our ISB protocol by assessing two key patient-centric outcomes: analgesia duration and sleep quality on the first postoperative night.
