In the United Kingdom and Ireland, an estimated 80% of robotic operating lists include only a single case. Establishing a robotic programme requires major investment in equipment, consumables, training, personnel, and theatre time. The National Health Service in England predicts that by 2035, 90% of all laparoscopic procedures will be performed robotically. We aimed to investigate whether a total robotic practice could enhance developing robotic services and patient outcomes.
