Beyond the scalpel: When a routine case becomes a diagnostic puzzle—a case report JF - Mesentery and Peritoneum; Vol 10 (April 30, 2026): Mesentery and Peritoneum (Abstracts for the Sylvester O'Halloran Perioperative Symposium 2026) Y2 - 2026 KW - N2 - Retained common bile duct (CBD) stones are an important postoperative complication of laparoscopic cholecystectomy, occurring in 2–5% of cases and frequently leading to readmission.
